Hotels for Habitats Usage Agreement

This agreement sets the rules for using our printed collateral. By downloading or using the print files for table talkers, door hangers, or other material , you agree to these terms.

Ownership and License

Hotels for Habitats owns all intellectual property rights to these designs. We grant registered hotels a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to print and display these materials within their physical establishment.

Permitted Use

You may use these files solely to promote Hotels for Habitats initiatives to your guests. You are encouraged to print as many copies as needed for your guest rooms and common areas.

Eligibility & Registration

Access to HFH print files is strictly limited to hotels with an active registration on the HFH portal. You must maintain an "In Good Standing" status to display these materials.

To enhance your Hotels reputation, we can publish your hotel on the HFH website  as a participating hotel, with your permission.

Prohibited Conduct

To protect our brand and mission, you must not:

  • Modify, edit, or alter the designs, logos, or text in any way.
  • Sell, lease, or charge others for access to these materials.
  • Use the materials to promote any illegal activity or illicit services.
  • Incorporate the designs into any products, merchandise, or unrelated advertising other than your hotel..
  • Remove or obscure copyright notices or website URLs.

No Endorsement or Partnership

Displaying these materials does not create a legal partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship. You may not claim that Hotels for Habitats endorses your specific business practices, safety standards, or external services.

Liability Disclaimer

These materials are provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. Hotels for Habitats is not liable for any printing costs, guest disputes, or legal issues arising from the display of these items in your jurisdiction.

Collateral Usage & Brand License

By downloading or displaying any Hotels for Habitats (H4H) collateral, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

  1. Conditional License
    This license is granted exclusively to hotels with a current, active, and verified account through the H4H registration portal. Use of any materials by unregistered or expired members is strictly prohibited.
  2. Grant of Rights

Subject to your compliance with these terms, H4H grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to:

  • Print and display H4H table talkers, door hangers, and use the Hotels For habitats logo.
  • Incorporate H4H branding into your own in-house marketing to signal your participation.
  1. Maintain Brand Integrity
    Hotels for habitats is a high value environmental  ‘Platform Badge’ -to maintain a consistent global image, you agree that:
  • Designs must not be ,stretched, recoloured, or altered.
  • The H4H logo must remain legible and prominent.
  • You will not "white-label" the content or claim it as your own creation

The Donation Commitment

These materials represent a legal pledge to our environmental partners. Misuse or failure to remit donations constitutes a breach.

By displaying HFH collateral (door hangers/table talkers), the Hotel enters an agreement to:

  • Accurately track every instance a guest forgoes room servicing via the HFH program.
  • Remit the specified "per-night" donation to HFH as outlined during your registration.
  • Ensure these funds are transferred within the agreed-upon billing cycle.

Global Compliance & Prohibited Use and Brand Integrity

You represent and warrant that your use of H4H materials will comply with all local, national, and international laws. You are strictly prohibited from using H4H branding or collateral in connection with:

  • Any illegal or illicit activities under the laws of your jurisdiction.
  • Adult services, human trafficking, or exploitative practices.
  • Discriminatory or hate-based messaging.
  • The promotion of environmental harm or unethical wildlife practices.
  • No "Greenwashing": Materials must not be used if the hotel is not actively donating the saved servicing costs to HFH

Verification of Status

If your registration is suspended or terminated for any reason, you must immediately remove and destroy all H4H-branded materials.

Our model thrives on transparency. By downloading these files, you join a circle of trust between your guests, our NPO, and the  various beneficiaries..

 The Reporting Obligation

By using HFH materials, the Hotel agrees to log into the portal monthly to report "Skipped Services." You acknowledge that H4H relies on your honesty and truth in advertising  to ensure environmental beneficiaries receive their due support.

International Compliance 

The Hotel is responsible for ensuring that this model  ‘service – donation’ complies with local tax laws, VAT/GST requirements, and hospitality regulations in their specific country.

Currency amounts

For Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Fiji and countries  which use these dollar denominations, the donation rate is $5.,If you are uncertain of currency amounts in other jurisdictions, then adopt  US$3 as the basis for donations.

Limitation of Liability

H4H provides these files "as-is." We are not responsible for local printing costs, local compliance issues, or how guests interpret the materials within your specific country or culture.

Termination of Use

We reserve the right to revoke this license at any time. Upon notice, you must cease distribution and destroy any physical or digital copies in your possession.
